The deadline for companies to register for Ad Age Best Places to Work 2024 is approaching fast. The annual list recognizes 50 companies in advertising and marketing that lead the pack in culture, benefits and employee development.

Friday, Aug. 11, is the deadline to register.

An employer questionnaire and employee survey will be sent after that. Winners will be notified in November. Ad Age will publish the list of winning companies in January 2024.

What is the Ad Age Best Places to Work program?

Ad Age Best Places to Work is an annual awards program honoring 50 companies that stand out for their workplace practices, programs and benefits.
 
The winners will reflect the highest overall scores based on an analysis of questionnaires submitted by employers and survey responses from employees.
 
The Ad Age Best Places to Work 2024 ranking will be produced by Best Companies Group, a research firm specializing in identifying and recognizing great places to work.
 
Best Companies Group will conduct the surveys, analyze the data and determine the winners.

How does this program benefit my company?

Entering the competition gives your company a chance to make the ranking as a top workplace, an honor for your employees and a point of difference you can make in recruiting new employees.

The ranking is important, but the Ad Age Best Places to Work program has benefits that extend beyond that ranking.

Companies that participate in the Ad Age Best Places to Work 2024 competition—including those that make the ranking and those that do not make the ranking—are able to purchase Best Companies Group’s Insights Report package.

The Insights Report package includes access to an interactive online portal with detailed and downloadable data, charts and graphs from the employee engagement and satisfaction survey.

The package also includes employee and employer benchmark reports from the Ad Age Best Places to Work program, allowing your organization to compare results to your peers.

As part of the Insights Report package, Best Companies Group will share its comprehensive assessment of your firm’s performance, identifying strengths and weaknesses, according to what employees have to say, with a goal of helping your company build a better workplace.

What kinds of companies are eligible?

The Ad Age Best Places to Work 2024 competition is open to agencies, ad tech firms, data and research firms, brand or corporate marketing departments or groups and marketers’ in-house agencies.

How does the process work?

Best Companies Group conducts a simple yet thorough company assessment, consisting of an employee survey and employer questionnaire, designed to gather detailed information about a workplace.
 
The employee survey includes a set of statements that employees respond to (from “strongly disagree” to “strongly agree”) along with some open-ended and demographic questions. This makes up 75% of the overall score. The questionnaire will be sent to participating companies’ employees in September. 
 
The employer questionnaire covers a company’s policies, practices, benefits and demographics. This makes up 25% of the overall score. The employer questionnaire will be sent to participating companies in August.

Winners will be notified in November.

How much does it cost to enter?

Registration for Ad Age Best Places to Work 2024 is $499.

When will the Best Places to Work 2024 winners be announced?

Ad Age will publish the list of winning companies in January 2024.
